tie-dying shirts pink on October 20th-21st.

Students will need a white tee-shirt before then. Even if they can’t bring in a white shirt, a light colored shirt will do. If it has a minor amount of writing or a small picture on it, it will be OK because we can turn the shirt inside out.

After we dye the shirts, they will go into bags. Students need to take the shirts home and lay them out to dry. After they are dry they have to go into the washer and dryer.

Students are encouraged to wear them the following Thursday.

On Thursday, October 27, 2011, students and staff will be wearing pink (or a color close to it).
We will be joining with Harmony Elementary School to “Turn Murphy Road Pink”. The day before, pink ribbons will line the street from Harmony to Thorne. During the day, the schools will go out to Murphy Road. Half of the road will be shut down by the police to insure the safety of students and staff. At a designated time, an air horn will go off to have a moment of silence to honor those who lost their battle with any cancer, to support those going through treatments now, to celebrate those who are survivors and to be there for those who have yet to be diagnosed.

the Periodic Presentations of the Elements

Task: To create a Google presentation (an online version of PowerPoint) for an element found on the periodic table.
